Fine-line tattoo artist
Tony Asian
Tony Asian does the thin stuff, single-needle script, botanicals with stems you can barely see, portraits the size of a quarter that still read across the room. He has been tattooing for 11 years, the last six at Irish Rose.
He will tell you when something is too small to survive, and he will shrink your lettering by a point and widen the spacing so it still says what it says in ten years. Books four to six weeks out; smaller pieces fit sooner.

What to book Tony for
Fine-line botanicals, single-needle script, small animals, ornamental linework and micro-realism the size of a coin. If the reference you keep saving is thin, delicate and mostly line, Tony is the artist at Irish Rose Tattoo to send it to. He also does matching tattoos, memorial script copied from a handwritten note, and small first tattoos that need to be sized right the first time.
He works with a single needle or a tight 3-round liner depending on how the piece needs to age. Lettering gets sized so the counters of the letters stay open, lines stay at least 2 mm apart, and placement is chosen for how the skin moves rather than how it photographs on day one.
How Tony quotes
Every piece is quoted flat from your description, placement, size in inches and two or three reference photos. Small pieces start at the $80 shop minimum. Most palm-sized fine-line work lands between $150 and $350. A $50 deposit applies only on work quoted over $500, and it comes off the final price. Send a booking request and Tony replies within two business days with a number and open dates.
Booking lead time
Tony usually books four to six weeks out. Small pieces under two inches often fit into a gap sooner, so mention if your dates are flexible. For anything larger than a palm he may ask for a free 20-minute consultation first so the stencil fits the body part, not just the paper.

Booking with Tony
How small can Tony tattoo lettering?
About 8 mm tall for a simple font and 12 mm for script. Smaller than that and the letters close up as the tattoo settles, so Tony will size it up a little or widen the spacing.
Does Tony do color?
Mostly black and grey fine-line, with soft color washes on botanicals when the design calls for it. Bold, packed color is Zak's side of the shop.
How far ahead is Tony booked?
Four to six weeks for most pieces. Small tattoos under two inches often fit into gaps sooner, so say on the booking form if your dates are flexible.
